[well mineo is just doing a whole lap around the station trying to see... anything? yeah. anything. which is probably why he's able to find sheila wherever she is]
Ah, Sheila-san... I'm glad you're okay. [he worries extra over civilians]
I nearly went there - but White's pretty bad with dogs, I think. So we went to the library instead.... Before we fell asleep, the books all ended with 'and they lived happily ever after' even if they, uh, shouldn't have.
This morning... The covers and pages were bloody, and all turned into books on dealing with grief and loss.
Vira invited me after I totally forgot to make plans, so... Oopsie. [A binch is not great at not winging it.] You were with Megara, right? She told me about the books, too. I keep trying to figure out if they point to any location, but... Maybe they just have to do with the victims, instead.
But yeah.... I thought the night before that they would've pointed to Omi-san and Ashiya-san.... but today is hard. If it's grief, loss, and blood... doesn't that apply to all of us?
Or is it suggesting that it's someone who has trouble processing mourning...?
Well... at least from what I talked to the Avatars, it sounds like some of the curfew effects can point at suspects as well as locations. We just need to know how to connect them - like how the stars turning red the very first week could've pointed at the murder robot.
As for today... We have other things we need to look for. [he counts off on his fingers]
First, if anyone might have any lingering effects from healing in the pods if they got in a fight.
Second, if anyone is insatiably fixated on something all day, since that was Omi-san's power.
And... well, I don't know what other powers the two of them might've had, but anything about anyone acting kinda odd. We can only catch those today.
Did Omi say how long the effect lasted? I've been looking for side effects in the people I've talked to, but... [She sighs, frowning.] If they wrapped up early, there may not be any side effects anymore. I almost wish someone would put a trap in the pods as a final fuck you.
Twenty-four hours for Omi-san's. So we have until tonight, probably.
But... yeah. The pods are a hard one. I don't know if it'd help to leave something inside so that they can get - I don't know, sprayed with something hard to wash off? Glitter?
Maybe. But then that'd mean that both of them are awake....
We can look at what the evidence suggests. Takeru said something about how it feels like too much of a coincidence for it to be both of them - but at the same time we shouldn't just make assumptions without look at facts first.
week 3, friday
Ah, Sheila-san... I'm glad you're okay. [he worries extra over civilians]
Did you see anything weird today...?

[Truly. She looks absolutely fucking bummed today, punctuating that statement with a sigh. At that question, she shakes her head.]
Just the dogs howling like crazy, but that's because I slept in the park last night. And you?
DW MY NOTIFS
Ah - with Vira-san and Yuel-san...?

[don't bE ALONE ON MURDER NIGHT, SHEILA!!!!]

I guess...? I don't think any of the things we see today point at the culprits, though. That's too easy.

[Maybe they can just smudge the entire pod with gentian violet or some other medicine that stains. Call it arts and crafts.]

I mean - it'd suck if anyone ends up in a pretty bad situation next Thursday. But maybe after the group gets back, a little bit before curfew...?

Then maybe one of us can be there next week then, just in case. We'll see where we can get glitter from.
But it'd at least be a start.

... do you know where either of them stayed last night? No one's said anything about it to me yet...

And even if I asked everyone to text their roommate where they'd be staying, those two were....
[each other's roommate]
Damn.

[three can keep a secret if two of them are dead, babey.]

... uh.... I don't know how well they'd get along after...
[glances. the cyoa.]
... we can ask around and see.

[that would be a terrible scenario, tho. yikes.]

But you're right. Evidence first, wild theories later. That's our order.
