Mostly so, yes. There weren't many people my age in my last position, and I was the highest authority there. It wasn't exactly collaborative when I was supposed to make most of the decisions.

Honestly working with people like you is more familiar to me. I used to be the youngest guy in Field Ops, so everyone kinda nudged me around or gave me some grief. But it wasn't in a way that I thought they hated me.

actually pretty decent comparison for how he feels about vira. she's bossier than he is, but she's not so impersonal that mineo bristles at the idea of doing what she wants, despite her aura. some of that was also balanced by her winning over takeru first but. still.
... back home, most of the crimes that I dealt with were pretty removed.
But I think that the longer that we're here... the more that we'll end up suffering or having a hard time. So... really we should try to soak up the easier moments like this.
