I got a lot of the same... They tried to contact us before but the signs didn't go well - so probably the cheese smell? Their souls are fusing something but everything depends on indulgences.
Satoru's said that all the hints we need to win are on our side, and they can see us. They'll do what they can to help us, but we're supposed to investigate and share. I think they're counting on us...
So when it comes to bringing everyone back - we have to make sure we're keeping the indulgences up? Since there's fewer of us now...
Eleanor mentioned they had to pair up, because she didn't want to be associated with Vlad. So, discounting those that were killed this week, that means at most seven messages.

And yes, my first thought was the red haired man that Harrowhark, Yuel and I saw in one of the pods. We also saw a toy that looked like him during our 'adventure.'

If the dead first to be used as fuel, perhaps indulging will somehow provide enough energy to prevent that. Or it could be related to ending this experience as soon as possible.

If it's based on how far we are from the top of this station, then we don't have much more time. [ if it's last man standing, they've got a whiles to go. ] I imagine it's something like that. The dead no longer have their bodies, but their souls exist—so it sounds as though our spirits can somehow be used as fuel. Perhaps it's related to what we see in the pod room.
It's about trying to keep the number of casualties low as much as we can, right? But... with Childe still alive... I'm not sure how likely that'll be if we just keep letting him walk around.

I believe it's a balance. If we kill people, it counts as a large indulgence, and we must indulge. But if too many people die, then there may be no one left to generate this 'fuel,' and the dead will certainly be consumed.

Childe is a known and unrepentant killer, and I would rather see him dead. Not for justice, but to avoid such disaster. [ she doesn't want to wait around for him to kill someone, and the indulgence bonus would be nice. she's already decided this is what's best, so it's just a matter of executing it. ]

... I don't think that there's really a thing like 'justice' here - at least, nothing that everyone can agree on. Where I come from, killing someone is a crime at all but... I don't believe that it's possible to just jail him and expect everything to work out here, you know?

I just don't want to put anyone else at risk just because no one can decide to take action against him.
