[it's been a weird day but some things don't change - one of those things is the fact that mineo is pretty intense about keeping up his training every single day. he's wandering into the gym and even climbing into the boxing ring out of curiosity]

but mineo's reflexes are at least fast enough that surprise doesn't hit him too hard, letting him duck just short of getting knocked in the head, throwing his shoulder into knocking childe further away from him, which he'll follow with an attempted kick to his side
